Grants

Grants are a great source of income for clubs, and can be used to fund a wide variety of activities, equipment, facilities and programs. There are hundreds of millions of Dollars provided to sporting clubs annually through grants supplied by Federal, State and Local Governments, Governments agencies such as Healthway and Sports Medicine Australia, and private companies.

Community Activity Grants Program

Provider: Dept for Communities (WA)

Purpose: The Community Activity Grants program provides one-off funding grants of up to $2500 each to enable community-based organisations to develop projects that meet the Department for Communities' strategic priorities

Community Events and Celebration Grants

Purpose: To help communities celebrate significant occasions, encourage cultural diversity and bring communities together.

Sponsorship and Grants Program

Purpose: To offer a wide range of opportunities for sponsorship and fundraising support for community groups, nonprofit organizations, schools, universities and sports clubs.

Local Sporting Champions program

Provider: Australian Sports Commission
Funding: Grants of $500 will be available for successful individual applicants, and $3000 for successful team applications.
