THE West Coast Eagles State Amateur Under 23 team has won their second game of the AAFC National Championships, defeating host team South Australia by 21 points in slippery conditions.

Leading one goal four to four points at the break, the South Australian side was found to have an extra player on the ground at the two minute mark of the second term and had their score –which had not changed since half time – erased.

The West Coast Eagles State Amateur Under 23’s have kept their hopes of winning the AAFC National Championship alive with a last gasp win against Tasmania in game one.

The AAFC National Championship format see’s the teams play two 20 minute halves and it was the West Coast Eagles State Amateur Under 23’s on top by three points at the break. Tasmania rallied and went within a whisker of winning before WA kicked the last goal of the day to run out winners by two points.

THE West Coast Eagles State Amateur Colts and U/23's squads played their second match of the year against the Peel Football League last night at Anniversary Park in Rockingham.

The following players are a part of the West Coast Eagles State Amateur U/23's Squad to take on the Peel Football League this Wednesday, May 25th at Anniversary Park, Rockingham.

Players are required to arrive at the ground at 6:00pm.
