If you are heading to Windermere Park in Joondalup this Saturday 8 April prepare for a sea of colour as the ECU Jets celebrate ‘Rainbow Round’

The ECU Jets E3 Grade team will be wearing rainbow socks and shoelaces for their Round One clash to raise awareness of LGBTI prejudice in sport.

The Rainbow socks and shoelaces are in support of the “Lace Up for the Love of Sport” campaign which runs from Thursday 6 April to Sunday 9 April supported by Skins.

ECU Jets CEO Trent Barron said, “This is an amazing opportunity for our club to use sport as a vehicle for social change and I am proud of the eagerness to support this initiative from all level of leadership at the club”.

The ECU Jets face off with Piara Waters at Windermere Park, Joondalup with bouncedown at 2.30pm.
