North Beach have finished the 2017 A Grade season as minor premiers with fifteen wins and three losses for the year.
With the top position locked in they will now enjoy a week’s break before taking on the winner of this weekend’s match between Fremantle CBC and University.
Their only losses this season have been against Kalamunda, Fremantle CBC and University and therefore their semi-final fixture will be one to watch.
North Beach will be hoping their finals campaign is not like last season when they finished in third position before losing both their Qualifying and Semi Final to the eventual premiers and runner up.
North Beach are no stranger to finals football in A Grade having won thirteen premierships including seven straight from 2004-2010. Since their premiership year North Beach have played finals in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016.
North Beach have not only had an impressive year in A Grade but seven teams at the club made finals this year- the most of any club this season.
Their A Reserves side also finished as minor premiers while the D1 Reserves and Brett Jones Colts finished in second.
The club will be hoping to add more premierships to their history in 2017 and improve on their two grand final wins from 2016.
One thing for sure is that the Charles Riley Reserve Clubrooms will be busy this finals series.
