Myors becomes the first player to reach 300 games at Willetton FC Fri, July 20, 2018 - 10:10 AM

Willetton Football Club C1 player David Myors becomes the first player in the club’s history to reach 300 games when he faces Bullcreek Leeming this Saturday at Beasley Park.

David joined the Willetton Football Club in 2004 winning the Drew Banfield Colts premiership in his first season. Since then he has played over 220 games in the club’s league side.

He won the Golden Boot Award as the clubs leading goal kicker in 2005 and 2006. In the following year David won another premiership for the club, this time in the league side.

While David has been integral for Willetton as a player he has also played his role off the field. In 2011 he coached the clubs colts side to a Grand Final and in 2013 he led them to a premiership in the Drew Banfield Colts division.

He served on the committee for eight years in both Vice President and general committee roles.

David was awarded life membership of the Willetton Football Club in 2010, in the same year he won the Jim Grace Best Clubperson Award for his outstanding service to the club.

The WAAFL congratulates David on reaching 300 games for the Willetton Football Club.
