Integrated All Australians take part in INAS Global Games

Three players from the Perth Football League Integrated Competition represented Australian Rules Football at the 2019 INAS Global Games in Brisbane.  Held every four years, the INAS Global Games is the largest sporting event for elite athletes with intellectual impairment. Bassendean's Shane Young reaches 300 games

This Saturday 14 September Bassendean player Shane Young will play his 300th game in the C1 Grand Final at East Fremantle Oval.  Shane commenced at Bassendean AFC in 2003 as a 16 year old colts player. He captained the Colts in 2005 in the B Grade Grand Final losing by two points.  Shane won the League fairest and best in 2008 and is a recipient of the clubs Borg Memorial Trophy. This Saturday 14 September nineteen grades will contest Grand Finals across seven grounds in the metropolitan area.
