David Armstrong, General Manager
David was appointed General Manager of the WAAFL in March 2012.
David has extensive experience in sport and recreation, both at an executive management and participation level, having previously been employed as CEO of various organisations as well as being a former player in the WAAFL. Complementing his experience, David also holds a Masters degree in Business and a Bachelors degree in Media and Public Relations.
As a player, David won Premierships in Mt Lawley’s A and C Grade, and was also selected to represent the WAAFL State Team at both senior and colts’ levels.
Geoff Palmer, Operations Manager
Geoff commenced his role as Operations Manager for the WAAFL in November 2004 after previously being General Manager of the Sunday Football League from April 2000. He has been involved in football for a number of years including as a player, coach, committee member and umpire, as well as keeping an active involvement in cricket.
Geoff's role includes competition fixturing, By-Law amendments, tribunals, investigations and the successful WAAFL West Coast Eagles State Amateur Programs.
Natalie Couch, Administration, Finance and Events Manager
Natalie began working at the WAAFL in March 2002 as an administration assistant, processing registrations, clearances and match sheets.
Her current role see's her responsible for managing the WAAFL finances, publications and events, including major functions such as the Hall of Champions and WAAFL Medal Presentation Dinner.
Dylan Mellon, Media and Communications Officer
Dylan joined the WAAFL in May 2008 as an Operations Assistant. He continued with his study towards a Bachelor of Communications while in the role and developed an interest in promoting the WAAFL via website. At the beginning of 2011 he accepted a new role as Media and Communications Officer for the WAAFL.
Dylan's role now see's him responsible for WAAFL media and promotions, communications and the WAAFL website.
Jasmyn Davidson, Operations Coordinator
Jasmyn began working at the WAAFL in March 2009 as an Operations Assistant. After spending two years in the role she accepted the position of Operations Coordinator at the beginning of 2011.
Jasmyn's role is the administration of WAAFL registrations and clearances, team sheets, tribunal as well as providing additional support to the Operations Manager.
Tayla Daniele, Administration Assistant
Tayla joined the WAAFL as an administration assistant in February 2012.
Tayla's role is to provide assistance to the Administration, Finance and Events Manager as well as general enquiries and general administration duties.
Ashlea Renshaw, Operations Assistant (Casual)
Ashlea first worked at the WAAFL in 2011 where she worked part providing support to the Operations Team. After leaving the role in September 2011, she accepted a casual position as Operations Assistant in January 2012.
Ashlea keeps an active involvement in football on the field as a player for Coastal Titans in the WA Women's Football League.
Her role see's her responsible for registrations, clearances and team sheets for the WAAFL.
